Thank Lord for our Assembly Hall
M. K. Sunny, Andamans
Dear loving Brethren in the Lord,
We wish you all warm greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for your fellowship in the past for the Lord’s work in these Islands. We praise God always remembering you all in our prayers because you are so precious in the sight of God and are being used for the glorious ministry. We hope that all dear ones there in the Assembly are keeping fine and we pray for you continually.
By God’s grace, we are fine. The small Assembly is growing slowly. Praise God for a few new people who attend the gatherings in these days. All regular activities are going-on well. It is a small fellowship started after Tsunami attack and most of the believers are of Tsunami victims. It is hard to work among them as they are facing many challenges in their life. We try to extend maximum of our service in the love of Jesus Christ. We would be grateful if some burdened Assemblies/ individuals to shoulder with us so that the burden may be lightened to us.
Our Children’s Bible Clubs in six places run smoothly with the strength of more than 200 children. We visit these centers once in a week and teach them the love of God. Most of the children are from non Christian background. We thank God for His vision to us and we appreciate your encouragements and practical help.
We are praying for Nithish Kannan whose right arm broke when he fell down but due to careless medication his right arm amputated. He is one of the active CBC members. Though he is from a strong Hindu family, yet his faith in the Lord is strong. Please pray for this child.
Bro. Deepak was the first Christian from his village and he was tortured mentally and socially by all even by his family members. Thank God that Sr. Laxmi who was in the lead to torture now attend the church regularly and we pray that through her all villagers may be convinced the love of Jesus Christ.
In the summer vacation we could conduct Vacation Bible School for the children. We taught them the story of Joshua and missionary story of William Cary. It was an interesting time with the children. We know for sure that all our efforts will bring fruits one day. God gave some talents which we faithfully use for His glory. Praise God and keep praying for these ministries in these Islands.
My family joins with me to greet you. Wife Shiny and sons Paul and Thomas are keeping fine. Please pray for their good health. Also remember my children’s education. Bro. Lawrence and Bro. Deepak associate with me in all the ministries here in Andaman Islands. Please pray for them. They too convey their regards to you all.
We could visit mainland in the summer and there also God used me in many places ministering the word of God for the glory of God. Since my wife shiny is under medication, we could have her check-up also. Please pray for her as she is weak now. I wish that her sickness should not disturb us in the ministry. We trust in the Lord fully as there is no treatment available for tumor /cancer patient here.
Please pray for respected Br. M.Joseph and Bro. Aby Joseph at Port Blair. Please pray for Bro. Selvakumar and Bro. Phineahas who look after the Assembly testimony that Lord raised by my pioneer work in Nicobar Islands. The church building construction comes to its finishing stage. We thankfully remember the Saints’ and Assemblies’ contribution for this great task/project. We had a huge amount liability at the time of dedication. It took more than one year to overcome from such debts. Please pray so that remaining works of this building may complete soon. We work with a great hope that our Lord is coming that is so near and our labour will be rewarded . Let us work together to bring many souls again for the glory of God.
In His service,
